WASHINGTON (AP) - The House has approved a two-week leave of absence for Congressman Anthony Weiner -- and there are many Democrats who would like that absence to be a permanent one. Democratic House members meet today behind closed doors for the first time since the scandal erupted. They could try to take away a committee assignment in hopes of persuading Weiner to resign.
