CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit detectives conducted two undercover operations and arrested a total of five crack dealers Monday afternoon.
The first drug operation was held in Charlotte Harbor. Arrested were Willie Frank Johnson, 43, of Punta Gorda, and Douglas Henry Keevis, 39, of Port Charlotte.
Undercover operatives exchanged $200 for Crack Cocaine and units then moved in and made the arrest.
The second Crack Cocaine deal was in the Cleveland area east of Punta Gorda, also for $200 in drugs. Arrested were three Port Charlotte men, Jeremy Stephen Eubanks, 22; Jeremy Phillip Peters, 23, and Gabriel Lee Foster, 18.
All five men were transported to the Charlotte County Jail and each was charged with two felony charges of Sale and Delivery of Crack Cocaine and Possession of Crack Cocaine.
Foster was additionally charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for having three crack pipes in his possession. Jeremy Peters posted a $7,500 bond and was released. The other four remain in jail; Foster’s bond is $8,500, Johnson and Keevis both have a $7,500 bond.
There is no bond on Jeremy Eubanks who has 26 bookings into the Charlotte County Jail and is a convicted felon.
