COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - A Collier County condo with so much mold it can be seen through the windows from the street! The county wants it cleaned up and so do neighbors who say it's hurting their health, but now there's a fight over who should pay.

Code enforcement has stepped in at South Bay Plantation in East Naples. They are requiring the condo owner, Moise Thegenus, do something soon. However, Thegenus tells WINK News he's been trying to foreclose on the property since 2009, but the bank won't take it. He insists the mold only started after a pipe bust in the building last year, and thinks the condo association should be held responsible.

The condo association for South Bay Plantation tells us either Thegenus or the owner of the condo above, where the leak started, will likely have to pay the nearly $22,000 to fix the problem. That ordeal could wind up playing out in court.

In the meantime, neighbors are left dealing with the issue and health concerns.
