A Tornado Watch is in effect for all of Southwest Florida until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
The line of storms that brought severe weather to central Florida is weakening as it moves into SWFL. The upper level support for severe storms has moved out of the region. Rain and a few storms are still possible from around 7 p.m. to midnight across the area. On average, we might see .25" to 1" in some backyards.
Conditions will improve by early Friday morning as dry air works its way down the state with a pleasant weekend in store.
