FORT MYERS, Fla.-Fort Myers Police believe alcohol and speed are factors in an early Monday morning car accident that happened on Second St. at Cranford. The car nearly hit the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Members say it's happened before at that site because drivers speed along Second Street in the city. Both occupants of the car, Travis Leaphart and Gerah Leaphart were transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with injuries. Charges are pending.
