LEE COUNTY, Fla. - It will be Lee county's largest foreclosure auction.
More than $300 million worth of properties will be up for grabs to the highest of high-end bidders.
One of the crown jewels of the sale will be the Tarpon Point properties in Cape Coral.
They include retail, a restaurant and hotel and 92 unsold condo units.
Jerry McHale, the court appointed receiver of the Grosse Point Development's properties says the transition to new ownership should be seemless and there should be no fear about job losses of vendors not being paid.
He says this is just little more than a title transfer.
