FORT MYERS, Fla.- Ed Ellyatt says he smiles every time he passes by a gas station.
Because he doesn't have to stop!
Ed is one of the first Florida residents to own Chevy's new electric vehicle the Volt.
Ed works for Lee County and is charged 75 cents a day to plugin while on the job.
Ed says he gets 40 miles per full electric charge and that's just enough for him to get back and forth to work, without a drop of gas.
Something that he says gets him all charged up!
