CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.-- A two-car crash Thursday morning forced deputies to divert traffic both east and westbound on McCall Road in Englewood.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at McCall Road and David Blvd.

West and East Bound traffic is being diverted around the crash.

This will be causing traffic delays.

The reason for the traffic being diverted is that one of the vehicles (pool cleaning service truck) was transporting Chlorine, which has spilled onto the roadway.

The road will be closed until the spill can be cleaned up. FHP has been called to work this crash.
