NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- Jackie Moffit says she spent $280 on tickets to Busch Gardens on the popular website, Craigslist.
The tickets were for her son, his girlfriend and their five kids.
Moffit says she received the e-tickets promptly from the seller, so she thought it was a legit deal.
But when the family went to the amusement park, they were told the tickets were no good.
So rather than send the kids home with sad faces and bad memories Jackie Moffit's son spent more than 500 dollars for tickets at the gate.
Now Jackie says she's learned a valuable and expensive lesson about trust and shopping online and she wants others to be careful when exchanging money with strangers.
