OCALA - The body of a 66-year-old man was found after high winds fueled a grass fire that grew out of control on his property about 15 miles outside Ocala.

Marion County fire crews arrived at the home about 12:47 p.m. Tuesday and found Warren Wimberly's body in the field. Officials say Wimberly had a permit from the Florida Division of Forestry to burn the land for agricultural purposes.

Authorities say the man's body was burned.

Wimberly and his wife, who was not injured, were the only ones monitoring the fire. The fire burned three to five acres.

The state fire marshal's office will investigate. --- Information from: Ocala Star-Banner, http://www.starbanner.com/
