LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- With less than two full days to go before Christmas, holiday travel is in full swing.
Southwest Florida International Airport usually sees about 6,000 passengers a day. But on a busy travel day like this one, about 12,000 passengers will pass through the airport.

Whether you're coming or going seems to be a factor in traveler experiences.
Rafael Sandoval says his flight from California to RSW was delayed eight hours because of the persistent rain.
But Julie Sharkey and her family had no problems with their flight today. They were flying back to Chicago after a family vacation in Naples. It was on time.
Remember, if you are flying out, arrive two to three hours before your flight to allow time for check-in and the security screening process.
If you are traveling to a location experiencing inclement weather, contact your airline ahead of time to make sure it's still on time.
For those expecting friends and family members to arrive soon, there is plenty of short term parking at RSW. If you don't want to pay to park, you can wait in the cell phone lot until your loved one arrives.
