PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Rick Scott hit the streets passing out candy in hopes of gaining more votes before Tuesday's election day.
The republican governor candidate was in Punta Gorda Sunday trying to persuade last minute votes before the big election - he held open a bag of candy and let local kids grab what they wanted - hoping to make an impression on their parents.
Republican candidate for senate, Marco Rubio, held a campaign rally in Cape Coral Sunday as well, all in hopes of gaining votes as well.
Some polls have Rubio leading current governor Charlie Crist by 20%, while Scott is in a deadlocked race with Alex Sink for governor.
