PARIS (AP) - French Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux says that France has received new warnings of a terror threat in Europe, "notably France," from Saudi intelligence services.

He said Sunday in an interview that the warning of a potential attack by al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula was received "in the last few hours, few days."
The minister says that Europeans were informed that "al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula was doubtless active or envisioned being active" on the "European continent, notably France."
