COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - A big day for the Edison State College Campus in Collier County.
Today the school broke ground on a $20 million project for two new buildings.
This project will feature a new Health Sciences hall with nursing, chemistry and biology labs to support a growing demand for medical and bio-sciences in Collier County.
Ground breaking happened sooner than expected thanks to a large donation from Dr. Allen Weiss, CEO of NCH Healthcare, and his wife Marla.
The buildings will be ready for students Fall 2011.
