FORT MYERS, Fla. - A group of Southwest Florida students staged a protest in the wake of a student-immigration bill that stalled in the Senate.

More than a dozen high school and college students held signs and t-shirts in support of the "Dream Act".

Surprised shoppers looked on before mall security asked the group to leave.

Area students also traveled to Orlando and Miami over the weekend to stage similar protests.
