CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - Charlotte County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit detectives in an undercover drug operation Monday evening arrested a Port Charlotte man for drug trafficking in Oxycodone pills from his home. Arrested was Anthony James Mazza, 38.
Mazza told undercover detectives to come to his home where 45 Oxycodone pills were exchanged for $560 cash. Once the deal was completed, K9 and road patrol units moved in and arrested Mazza. He was transported to the Charlotte County Jail and charged with Trafficking in Oxycodone, Possession of Oxycodone and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He remains in the jail on $28,500 this morning.
