CAPE CORAL, Fla. - McDonald's is having a job fair Tuesday at several of its Cape Coral locations.
The news comes a day after economists announced the recession is over and has been for more than a year.
However, unemployment is still near an all-time high in Southwest Florida.
Tuesday, September 21st, Cape Coral-area McDonald's are looking to put folks back to work.
The restaurant chain is offering full-time and part-time work.
A father and son team of Fred and Tim Frederic operate the McDonald's of Cape Coral and are looking to work with employees to build schedules to fit their needs.
The hiring day locations include six different spots in the Cape, including Quick Stops inside Wal-Mart on Del Prado and Pine Island.
