Charlotte County detectives arrest Nashville man wanted on 10 counts of rape

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Fugitive Apprehension Squad was responsible for the arrest of a man wanted on 10 counts of rape in Nashville, Tennessee. CCSO was contacted by a Metro Nashville Police investigator seeking assistance in locating 45 year old Donald Andrews who relatives said was now living in Port Charlotte. His last known address in Port Charlotte was in the 800 block of Sunset Lane.

CCSO FAS detectives started its investigation here and learned that Andrews was now staying in Manatee County, in Parrish, Florida, at 2334 123rd Place East. CCSO FAS detectives, with assistance of the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Squad, went to the home last Friday morning and did locate Andrews; he was taken into custody without incident.

Andrews is being held in the Manatee County Jail awaiting extradition back to Nashville.
