NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a driver lost control on Alligator Alley in Naples when a rear tire blew out, crashing into a guardrail and killing two passengers.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol report, the victims were identified as 16-year-old Dehvon Payne and 14-year-old Janelle Sansion. The two were thrown from the car over the concrete wall Sunday afternoon.

Two adults, the driver of the car and another passenger, were seriously injured in the crash. Both were wearing seat belts.

The car overturned twice. The two fatal victims were not wearing seat belts.

An investigation continues.
