FORT MYES, Fla. - Do you agree with Lee County Sheriff Scott - that the cost of K9 Officer Rosco's funeral shouldn't be a question? Or do you think taxpayers should be allowed to ask about the price? WINK News took it to Facebook. We got many responses. Here are a few:

Candace - "People do not realize that Officer Rosco was an Officer of the law. He DOES deserve the highest honor as would another officer that was gunned down. I personally don't care how much it costs, he paid the ultimate sacrifice."

Justin - "The dog was an officer fair and square. The dog should be treated like one."

Gene - "There's a difference between wanting to know and criticizing for spending it. We sure have a right to know, but we can still be OK with doing it."

Sandra - "Rosco saved the life of Officer Thompson and any other officer who was on the scene. Enough said!"

Janet - "This was a working dog, a police officer. He was doing good for this community."

Nina - "If it is tax payer money then they should have to disclose the amount."
