CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Monday, Cape Coral leaders will discuss extending furloughs for another year.
The furloughs would be for non-union city employees making more than 50,000 dollars a year. Employees making between 50,000 and 75,000 would be required to take two unpaid days off a year. Those making more than 75,000 would take four unpaid days off.
This is just a proposal that will be discussed at Monday's council meeting.
