LONDON, England - A terror alert hit London Friday morning during the pope's historic visit to Britain. Five men are in custody suspected of plotting an attack against the 84 year old pontiff.

British security teams are on guard after uncovering a terror plot targeting Pope Benedict.

Scotland Yard said counter terrorism teams got word of a threat overnight and launched a predawn raid on an office in central London.

The five men are under arrest are between 26 and 50 years old. They are all reportedly of Arab descent.

Police said they haven't found any hazardous material in their searches.
