NAPLES, Fla. - In North Naples, part of the gulf is turning shades of yellow and brown from algae.
It's happening at Vanderbilt Beach and Barefoot Beach. It's also been spotted near the Naples Pier.
Florida Fish and Wildlife officials said the algae, called takayama, shouldn't cause any health issues in humans, but could cause fish kills.
