CAPE CORAL, Fla. - A Cape Coral community is the scene of a crime spree. Nearly a dozen homes on SE 16th Place and SE 13th place had cars in their driveways burglarized overnight. In each case, the car doors were left unlocked.

One victim told WINK News she had hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise stolen- including a GPS. She said the crime spree has her reconsidering where she lives.

"That's crazy. That's really crazy. I will be considering moving now. I will not raise my kids where I don't feel safe."

Another car burglary victim told us her home was also nearly broken into. Police are still searching for suspects.
