LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - Two young children found screaming and crying, abandoned by their father in a hot car.
Cindy Sul, the girl's mother, says, "I'm like what did you do?! Why did you do that?!"
Sul's daughters, Skylee and Savannah, appear healthy in her arms.
Yesterday deputies tell us, they were recovering from a minor heat stroke.
Witness Susan Soto says, "What scared me was her face was just purple, she looks like she's just had it!"
Deputies say, the girls' father, Michael Allen, left the girls in this hot car and then went inside this house to take apart an air conditioning unit.
We ask, "Is Michael a good dad?" Sul says, "Yeah ususally, like I said, he said he was just going right up to the garage to get some scrap some lady had given him."
That's when Susan Soto drove by and noticed 3 year old Savannah.
"I saw the little girl beating on the window and screaming."
She says, 1 year old Skylee, appeared to be passed out.
"She was slumped over like this, she didn't look conscious, she wasn't moving she wasn't crying.
Soto called 911 and Allen was arrested.
"I just can't imagine somebody doing that to their kids."
Taken to the hospital and treated, the girl's are at home and doing much better. Mom just hopes that dad's learned from his mistake.
