LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Planning and fundraising kicked off Tuesday  for the WINK News Feeds Families Huner Walk.

Sponsors and Committee members, on the heels of two very successful walks are looking forward to the 3rd annual event to be held on January 22nd at the Miromar Outlets in Estero.

Last year the walk raised $140,000 and committee members hope to top that this year.

The money raised at the event goes to the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida.  For every dollar raised, the food bank is able to convert that into $6 worth of food through partnerships with growers and food companies
