LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - An EMS dispatcher is in hot water for sending a woman into a home following a double murder turned suicide.
In newly released 911 calls, you can hear the dispatcher ask a babysitter to check for a 1 year old boy after she discovered his parents dead inside a Lehigh Acres home earlier this month.
"I need you to go back inside and check the rooms and see if you can find that baby", said the operator.
The babysitter can be heard saying she wanted to wait for deputies to arrive instead.
EMS says the dispatcher knew the victim and did not follow proper procedures. Lisa Forde was a paramedic with the county.
A supervisor who was also on the line did not intervene.
Both are undergoing further training and proper counseling
