Democrat Alex Sink chooses running mate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Democrat Alex Sink is choosing former state Sen. Rod Smith as her running mate for governor. Smith is aGainesville-area lawyer who lost the Democratic primary forgovernor in 2006 in a close race with Jim Davis. Smith and Sink confirmed the choice Tuesday.
