BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - The FBI says a man dubbed the "Granddad Bandit" and suspected in 25 bank robberies in 13 states has been captured in Louisiana.
FBI agents and city police surrounded a home in Baton Rouge late Wednesday morning.
About 3:45 p.m., a stocky, balding man with graying hair and glasses was led away without incident.
The FBI Web site says the "Granddad Bandit" is wanted for 25 bank robberies in 13 states. His identity had been unknown.
He was described as a 45-to-60-year-old white man, about 6 feet tall and 230 pounds, balding with short grayish hair on the sides.
