Oil spill's impact on property values

The oil spill in the Gulf could cost homeowners $68 million in lost property value over the next year. The new information is part of a study conducted by Core Logic.
The average home in Pensacola, Florida has lost $40,000 since the disaster began in April. In Mobile, Alabama the average loss is about $45,000.
