FORT MYERS, Fla.-
22-year old Adrian Holland made his first court appearance Friday before a Lee County judge. Holland was in his orange jail jumpsuit when he appeared via closed circuit television. Holland won't be leaving the Lee County Jail anytime soon or coaching soccer to kids.
The judge determined Holland should be held in jail with no bond. Holland's next appearance is in late August. He is facing felony charges. Holland may not have contact with the alleged victims or any minors.
The Director of Coaching for the Lee County Stryker Soccer Club is accused of having a sexual relationship with two underage girls he coached.
When the alleged victims came forward, the coach was fired immediately.
WINK News looked into Holland's background. Adrian Holland is an avid soccer fan and even has his own website called adieholland.com. Holland also has a youtube channel full of instructional soccer videos but they do not feature players.
His latest video was posted just a week ago.
Holland's nickname is Adie and he is from the UK.
Holland played for professional academies overseas but he says he has a passion for coaching and "wants to pass on my advice to the younger generation to make them the best they can be", according to his website.
On his bio page, Holland says he was coached at clinics and soccer camps across the United States for over 50 soccer clubs.
The exact ages of the victims is not known, but are between the ages of 12 and 15.
The judge's own children play in the Stryker league but the judge did not believe that was a conflict of interest since Holland never coached his children.
