MIAMI - (AP) Human remains found in the Everglades last month have been identified as a missing South Florida woman.
Police confirmed Wednesday the remains were that of Marisol Ramon, a 40-year-old woman who had gone missing in Miami Lakes in May. A tourist found the remains while driving on U.S. 27 just south of the Broward-Palm Beach County line
No cause of death has been released, but police say Ramon's disappearance was suspicious.
