FORT MYERS, Fla. - A youth soccer coach was arrested Tuesday on allegations of inappropriate contact with one of his players.
Soccer club President Robert Peltran was contacted by the police to say a parent had filed a complaint about improper communication with a player. Peltran says he fired Holland within an hour of hearing the allegation.
The Lee County Sheriffs Office issued a warrant for Adrian Holland's arrest on Monday. The Broward County Sheriff's Office picked him up in Plantation, just north of Miami.
Holland worked with the Lee County Strikers soccer club which has over 500 players.
