FORT MYERS, Fla.-A murder suspect that sparked a 24 hour manhunt is being held in the Lee County jail without bond.
Timothy Tuttle Jr. made his first appearance in court Thursday via closed circuit television from the jail. The judge says he considers Tuttle to be a danger to the community and a flight risk.
Tuttle is currently on probation for drug charges out of Glades County and has a long list of previous charges including drug and weapons charges, ten failure to appears and an earlier fleeing and eluding from authorities in August of 2008.
Tuttle and Terry Ragland are accused of murdering a Cape Coral man during a home invasion in early July. Ragland was also in court and is being held without bond.
