CAPE CORAL, Fla. - A local man is willing to do anything to support our troops.
He's taking his creativity to the Iwo Jima Memorial in Cape Coral to try and bring overseas troops closer to home.
Cody Anderson is going across the country to raise over 5,000 international phone cards to send to troops.
He spent $44,000 converting his pickup truck into a mobile DJ studio.
"I left with $200 in my pocket - depended on hotels and motels to donate my place to stay, restaurants for food, people for gas that's the only money i take is to help keep the wheels turning," said Anderson.
Cape Coral is his "tour's" 2nd stop, after a good turnout in Ft. Stewart, Ga.
Anderson is doing this to mark the 80th anniversary of the Veterans Association.
His next stop is Naples, Fla.
If you want to donate and can't make it to see Cody, you can contact Major Michael Reeve at (912) 435-9755.
