FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Florida state attorney's office has released new details on the death of an 18 month old girl.
Reggie McKinnon has pled not guilty to the death of his daughter.
McKinnon had claimed all along that it was an accident, but the new discovery documents show he was showing pictures of his baby girl to co-workers while she was still locked in the car.
Statements from employees at Century Link, are consistent that McKinnon returned to work from taking his daughter to a doctor's appointment around 11a.m.
They also show he left for lunch around 1:45 p.m. and left for the day shortly after 3 p.m.
McKinnin's daughter was allegedly left in the car from the time he returned from the doctor appointment until he left.
Experts say the temperature inside the car could have exceeded 100 degrees.
