HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A baby sperm whale has died after it washed ashore in South Florida.

Hallandale Beach Fire Rescue officials say the whale, which was only 3-feet long, was found Thursday night. A veterinarian from Marine Animal Rescued tried to save it, but the whale died a few hours later.
