Washington, D.C. area shaken by minor earthquake

The Washington, D.C. area was shaken awake Friday by a minor earthquake measuring a 3.6 magnitude.

The USGS reports the quake happened at 5:04am Eastern Time about 10 miles Northwest of Rockville, Maryland and 20 miles Northwest of Washington, D.C.

So far no injuries or damage is reported.
