NAPLES, Fla -  A bank robber bandit is behind bars after going on a crime spree.

Authorities say Thomas Klein-- robbed an Estero Wachovia bank earlier this week.

Police say at sixty two years old, Thomas Klein is responsible for not only one, but two bank robberies this year throughout lee county.

The wife of the man accused of robbing a pair of Lee county banks responded to wink cameras after her husband was arrested friday night.

Police say he is the suspect responsible for robbing an estero wachovia bank at gunpoint only days prior.

Though, at his naples home, his wife claims she knew nothing about it.

Surveillance photos show the suspect inside the bank wearing a black and white hoodie, and a baseball cap to hide their identity.

But, thanks to a crimestoppers tip, authorities say they were able to make the connection with klein.

The charges for this senior don't stop there though.

Investigators believe is also the thief behind a January robbery at a Bonita Springs RBC bank.

In both cases the suspect handed the teller a bag and not implying he had a gun.

Klein is being held without bond in collier county but will be moved to lee county within the next day or two.
