CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla - A Port Charlotte man is arrested for stealing electricity from his neighbor.

The sheriff's office got an anonymous tip that 57 year old Frank Massey had stretched extension cords from his home to his neighbor's home.

Deputies advised him to unhook the cords, but a second check found he'd plugged them in again.

Massey was arrested for theft.  He told the deputy he had no power at his home and continued taking the electricity because his neighbor never told him he couldn't.
