LEHIGH ACRES, Fla - Classes have resumed at East Lee County High School after someone called in a bomb threat to the school.
The call came into the school at approximately 10:15 a.m. The caller said the bomb was located in the gym.

Joe Donzelli with the Lee County school district says they take bomb threats very seriously and in 99.9 percent of the cases, they catch the person responsible. He says, "we have no tolerance for this kind of stuff and will apply the fullest extent of our discipline to anyone involved, which includes suspension and expulsion."
East Lee County High School has 1,507 students according to figures from the school district.
