PUNTA GORDA- One of the top high school football players in the state is going out of state. According to Rivals.com, Charlotte High senior running back, Mike Bellamy has verbally committed to Clemson University.

Charlotte head football coach, Binky Waldrop, confirmed that Bellamy did commitment to Clemson. Passing up offers from Georgia, Alabama and Florida, among others.
