Lehigh Acres, Fla -  New details emerge in a brutal attack in Lehigh Acres attack.

WINK News has learned the name of the infant who was murdered last week.

He's been identified as 3 month, Josue Rosales.

Josue and his mother, 20 year old Karminda Rosales Salazar had their throat slits.

The suspect is 43 year-old Manuel Rosales.

He's the infant's grandfather and father to Karminda.

Right now, the 43 year old Rosales is being held here at the Lee County Jail.

A judge has denied him bond, saying he's a flight risk and a danger to the community.

It's unclear the exact motive behind the murder and attack, but our news partners at the News-Press report Manuel Rosales told detectives his actions were in "self defense".

But grisly details in a new crime report WINK News got on Monday, tells a different story.

In the report, Rosales reportedly slapped his daughter, Karminda several times.

He then grabbed a large kitchen knife and slit her throat three times, while she lie in the driveway of the house.

A deputy reports that when he got on scene, Karminda's throat had a "deep gash" and it was slit nearly all the way around her neck.

Documents also show Karminda had her index finger severed.

After allegedly attacking his daughter, documents reveal Manuel Rosales went back into the home, grabbed Karminda's three month old son, Josue Rosales, took him to the driveway, sat him in front of Karminda and said quote "here's your bastard".

Rosales then slit the baby's throat while Karminda watched, bleeding.

The infant was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Monday morning, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said Karminda is listed in critical but stable condition.

Manuel Rosales is charged with first degree murder and one count of attempted first degree murder.

His arraignment is scheduled for June 21st.
