First-round play at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic was suspended at 4:20 p.m. local time due to lightning in the area and officially called for the day at 6:30 p.m. Play will resume at 8 a.m. on Friday morning.

The LPGA will not send scores until the round is completed tomorrow morning, therefore only a leaderboard will move.
