JOHNS CREEK, Ga. (AP) - Tiger Woods heads a list of big name to miss the cut at the PGA Championship.
Several British Open champions, including the most recent one in Darren Clarke, are heading home from Atlanta Athletic Club. So are defending PGA champ Martin Kaymer and Dustin Johnson, the hard-luck loser at Whistling Straits last year and runner-up to Clarke at Royal St. George's.
Stewart Cink and Ernie Els, both past winners of the claret jug, missed their third cut in a major this season. Rising Australian star Jason Day, second at the Masters and U.S. Open, also missed the 4-over par cut line, missing by a stroke after shooting 71-74.
Gather 100 of the world's top 102 golfers and even some of the sport's biggest stars won't measure up.
