CAPE CORAL, Fla - Rumrunners restaurant, located at Cape Harbour in Cape Coral, will host a fantastic evening of culinary delights and sunset cocktails to benefit Barbara's Friends---The Children's Hospital Cancer Fund. The Southwest Florida community can spend an evening on one of the most beautiful waterfront spots in Cape Coral and help local children who are battling cancer and blood disorders.
Top local chefs from Rumrunners, The Joint, Blu Sushi, Sea Salt of Naples and The Flying Pig Catering will provide a gourmet tasting menu followed by a show-stopping dessert extravaganza courtesy of Norman Love of Norman Love Confections.
Guests can celebrate the summer and groove to the sounds of the evening’s featured entertainment, pianist Meagan Rose. A silent auction will include the opportunity to bid to see The Tampa Bay Rays battle The New York Yankees, enjoy a six-course wine dinner for eight prepared by Chef Todd Johnson, take home the coveted Tiffany & Co. sterling silver anchor cuff, or add to a music collection with a one-of-a-kind hand signed Jimmy Buffett guitar or Dave Matthews drumhead. Also up for bid will be fabulous works of art, handmade jewelry and private fishing and boating excursions.
The evening will be highlighted by a champagne toast with guests having the chance to purchase the opportunity to win an exquisite Mark Loren creation.
