LEE COUNTY, Fla.- A big change may be coming to four Lee County schools.
Today, the school board will vote to make the school day longer. It would start when kids come back from winter break. It's one hour for Colonial, Franklin Park and Manatee elementary schools, and 30 minutes for Harns Marsh Middle School.
Those are all Title One schools where students need more instruction time. Title One money will fund it, so it won't cost the district any more money.
