LEE COUNTY, Fla.- The Lee County School Board has decided to forgo a national superintendent search. Our partners at the News-Press are reporting that the decision was made today.
The board still has to vote later this month. The current superintendent, Nancy Graham, was hired under the condition that a national search would take place in October. The board now says they will not start that search. Graham will keep the job for the year, and then they will decide how to proceed at a later date.
