COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- The Collier County School Board rejected the magistrate's ruling to give teachers a pay raise.

Teachers will, however, receive a one percent bonus.

The teacher's union and school district have been at an impasse for more than a year. Last week, a special magistrate ruled in favor of the union, arguing
the district has the funds for the raises.

The board will made the final decision tonight.
