LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Dr. Nancy Graham has been sworn in as the new superintendent of Lee County Schools.

She had an official swearing in ceremony at the school board office Wednesday night, followed by a reception.

Graham takes over for Dr. Joseph Burke, who retired today for health and family reasons.

Graham is a former Naples High School principal, and worked in the Lee County School district for nearly 20 years.

She says she's excited to take on the challenge of leading the district.

Her first official full day on the job is Thursday.
